Registration Times

Fall 2020 Registration Times

Note that registration times represent your first time to register, not the ONLY time. You are not excused from class to register for classes. Registration times are based upon credits earned as of January 31, 2020. Your registration class level does NOT include currently enrolled credits. Students in early priorities will register on Wednesday, April 15th at 9:00 a.m. Details will be emailed to those students the week of April 6th.

Before You Register…

Be prepared and ready to go when your registration time begins. Check the steps…

  1. Schedule of Courses
Check the Schedule of Courses for the Fall 2020 semester and plan your classes.
  2. Academic Advising
Developing a plan for completing your degree with the help of your Academic Advisor is critical to your success. It is highly encouraged, and in some cases mandatory, that you meet with your Academic Advisor before registering for the Fall 2020 semester. Review the course schedule with your advisor. Your Academic Advisor and their contact information is available in your Degree Works audit via NEST. For more information on Academic Advising, please visit the Red Hawk Central website.
  3. Registration PIN
If academic advising is mandatory for you, your academic advisor will provide you with your own unique Fall 2020 registration PIN that will enable you to register for courses in Banner, via NEST. This registration PIN is needed to unlock the system to you, and only you, to sign up for your classes. For more information on PINs, please visit the Registration PINs website. Please Note: Registration PINs are unique to a semester’s registration. PINs from previous semesters will not work when registering for Fall 2020.
  4. Take Care of Holds…Before You Register!
Holds are placed on student accounts when students have not paid their outstanding bill, or fine or completed paperwork required by the University. Some of these Holds will prevent you from registering for classes. For more information, please visit the Holds website.

Fall 2020 Registration Calendar

Designations – Based on Completed Coursework

To know when your registration time begins, check how many Earned Credits you have (credits for completed coursework as of January 31, 2020) in Degree Works via NEST. Remember: your registration designation time does not include any credits for courses in which you are currently enrolled.

It’s Only the Beginning!

Remember…

  • Registration times represent when you can begin to register, not the only time.
  • You are not excused from class to register for classes.
