The following will be required to use The Student Recreation Center:

All visitors and members of the University community who participate in a campus event must:
  • Complete Hawk Check before arriving on campus, and if it tells you to not to come to campus, please do not come.
  • Masks are optional on campus. Visitors are always welcome to wear a face covering if they wish.

Protect your Skin at the gym!

The Student Recreation Center has a dress code that needs to be followed by all patrons. Prohibited clothing includes open-toed shoes, jeans, cargo shorts, pants with belts, shirts and tops that expose the torso, and clothing with profanity. Failure to comply with the policies could result in immediate removal from the Student Recreation Center and/or loss of membership privileges.

Visit Equipment Checkout at the Student Recreation Center where they lend a variety of equipment to students with their Montclair State University ID for FREE and the Lost and Found is located. Equipment Checkout also sells at cost apparel, athletic equipment, personal care items, and other accessories.
