Christine McNamara graduated with a BA in English in 1992. She currently serves as vice president for Content and Partnerships at Penguin Random House Consumer Marketing Development.
McNamara oversees strategic partnerships, consumer facing websites, content marketing, and social media on behalf of Penguin Random House. Christine’s partnership management responsibilities led her most recently to take the lead on the industry-wide Twitter Fiction Festival in 2014. She manages the team and coordinates Penguin Random House’s social media platform management, with a particular focus on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and GoodReads. Also under Christine is the content marketing group, which manages consumer-facing websites: Word & Film, TasteBook, Biographile, and Suvudu.
Christine has worked in various sales and marketing capacities in the publishing industry for more than 20 years.
