We’re here for you with virtual counseling options and career webinars!

With all instruction moved online, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences is working hard to ensure that our students receive the same level of service and support virtually. Career Services is no exception.

Our Career Services office is still open and available to meet virtually with you to provide guidance or resources you need to succeed in your career path.

Virtual Career Counseling

Our Careers team is offering Virtual Career Counseling Appointments. Simply sign in to your Hire a Red Hawk account to schedule an appointment with a career counselor.

Creative Job Searching for CHSS Majors
While there are many career paths that are compatible with the skills learned in the liberal arts, the job descriptions for such positions may not always indicate it. Therefore, an effective job search by a humanities or social sciences major requires creativity (and patience!). In this webinar, you will learn how to identify your strengths and skills as well as connect what you have learned in class to actual job opportunities. Various job search websites and resources will also be discussed. 6/29/2020
