Faculty Join Montclair Art Museum Lunar New Year Celebration

World Languages and Cultures faculty members, Wing Shan Ho and Yun Kim, led a calligraphy workshop at the Lunar New Year Celebration held at the Montclair Art Museum on Feb 12. Over 2,000 community members celebrated and learned about the Lunar New Year and enjoyed cultural performances including a Chinese lion dance and a Korean fan dance.

The celebration was organized by the AAPI Montclair in partnership with the Montclair Art Museum. Congressman Andrew N. Kim serving the 3rd District of NJ and Congressman Donald M. Payne, Jr. serving the 10th District of NJ gave opening speeches at the event.
