The Department of Computer Science at Montclair State supports various Undergraduate and Graduate programs. Bachelor of Science degrees in:
The Computer Science and Information Technology degrees are accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC). This is one of the four commissions operated by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). At the graduate level, we offer a Master of Science degree in:
- Computer Science MS
- Information Technology MS
- Cybersecurity MS
- Computational Linguistics MS (interdisciplinary program with the Linguistics department)
- Data Science MS
- Professional Science Masters (PSM) in Applied Information Technology.
For other students looking to enhance their education we offer various minors and certificates:
- certificate in Game Development (Undergraduate)
- minor in Computer Science
- minor in Data Science
- certificate in Computing Technology
- a graduate sequence of computing courses for those without a computing background
