Rutgers University celebrates its 250th year and to celebrate they planned a day that demonstrates the achievement of their alumni, A Day of Revolutionary Thinking. The event was held on Thursday November 10 across multiple campuses. PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies Director, Dr. Amy Tuininga, was asked to return to give a presentation on one of the newest programs in the PSEG ISS, one that embodies Revolutionary Thinking. That program is the PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies Green Teams that had its first successful summer of projects this past year. Dr. Tuininga received her PhD from Rutgers and has now earned a role as one of Rutgers’ distinguished alumni, the Rutgers 250 Fellows. Her achievement was commemorated with a medal given to Dr. Tuininga after her presentation.
