This summer, doctoral student Erell Germia and her advisor Dr. Panorkou presented their paper Examining Students’ Quantitative Reasoning in a Virtual Ecosystem Simulation of the Water Cycle at the biannual conference of the International Society of the Learning Sciences. In this study, the authors designed and tested an instructional module to help students develop their quantitative reasoning while examining the specific phenomenon of the water cycle. Congratulations Erell and Dr. Panorkou!
