Holly, and her fellow students, found their previous thinking of finding quick and easy tricks of solving problems reverted in Dr. DiNapoli’s class. He encouraged them to take the extra efforts to answer the WHY aspect of each problem.

Through this I realized so much more meaning and purpose behind each problem giving me that “aha moment” when reviewing elementary math which I hope to pass on to young children as a future teacher.
