Montclair State University Will Be Remote Monday, January 26.

Montclair State University will shift to fully remote operations on Monday, January 26 due to the expected winter storm. There will be no in-person activities, classes or meetings on both the Montclair and Bloomfield campuses. All offices and the libraries will provide online services only.
Essential employees should report as scheduled. All other employees are expected to work remotely. Any previously-approved time off will be charged.
What’s Available Sunday & Monday
- Open Dining Locations – View Hours of Operation:
- Dining Halls: Sam’s, Freeman and Schweitzer open regular hours.
- Retail Dining: Dunkin’ and Jersey Mike’s open regular hours.
- Mental Health Support: Uwill teletherapy is available 24/7.
- Residence Halls: Open and operating as normal. Should you need assistance you can call the CA/RA on duty or ask your front desk for assistance.
Please Note: Shuttles will not be running on Sunday, January 25 or Monday, January 26.
Sunday, January 25
- All administrative buildings and services will be closed.
- The Student Center, Student Recreation Center and Sprague Library on the Montclair Campus will be closed.
- No athletics practices or activities.
- Stay off campus roads, for your safety, and so we can properly clear the snow.
- Move your cars if you have not done so already!
- Relocate your vehicle to the parking decks (Montclair) or the eastern side of Lot B1 (Bloomfield) by 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 24.
Monday, January 26
- Classes: To be held remotely as scheduled unless your professor cancels. Check Canvas for updates!
- Mental Health Support: CAPS is available remotely including Let’s Talk hours from 1-2:30 p.m., 2-3:30 p.m. and 3-4:30 p.m.
- Residence Hall Community Offices: Open as normal.
- Student Health Center: Telehealth appointments available.
- University Libraries: Remote services available.

Additional Details
- The Add/Drop Deadline for Session A and B courses has been extended until Tuesday, January 27 at 11:59 p.m.
- The University plans to resume normal operations on Tuesday, January 27. A message will be sent if that plan changes.
