January 7 Payment for spring 2019 due in the Office of Student Accounts in Red Hawk Central or online via NEST.
January 9 Registration for visiting students begins for the spring 2019 semester at 9 a.m.
January 19 Commencement Ceremony for Graduate students. More information.
January 20 Residence Hall open for spring 2019 at 10 a.m.
January 21 Martin Luther King Holiday (No Classes.)
January 22 First day of classes for the spring 2019 semester.
January 31 Final day to add a full-term or first seven week spring 2019 course.
January 31 Drop deadline for 100% refund/adjustment. Final day for students to drop a full-term or first seven week spring 2019 semester course(s) resulting in 100% refund/adjustment of tuition. Courses dropped at 100% may be processed either through NEST or by submitting written notice to the Office of the Registrar. (See: Withdrawal Procedures, Deadlines & Refund Policy)
February 1 Withdrawal period begins for spring 2019 courses.
February 1 2019-2020 FAFSA priority deadline. Apply now.
February 1 Graduation Application for degree conferment or certification in August 2019 opens in NEST.
February 15 Pass/Fail and Audit Application deadline (to audit courses) for full term spring 2019 semester courses.
February 19 Withdrawal deadline 50% refund/adjustment. Final day for students to withdraw from a spring 2019 semester course(s) resulting in a grade of WD and a 50% refund/adjustment of tuition. Withdrawals may be processed either through NEST or by submitting written notice to the Office of the Registrar. No refund/adjustment issued after this date. February 25 Summer 2019 registration begins in NEST.
March 1 Fall 2019 Housing Deposit Due by 6 p.m.
March 11-17 Spring Recess (No Classes.)
March 18 Second half seven week classes begin for the spring 2018 semester.
March 25 Schedule of classes for the fall 2019 semester available in NEST.
March 29 Last day to rescind a P/F request for spring 2019.
April 5 Withdrawal deadline no refund/adjustment. Final day for students to withdraw from a spring 2019 semester course(s) resulting in a grade of WD and no refund/adjustment of tuition. No course withdrawal permitted after this date.
April 8 Registration for fall 2019 begins.
April 19-21 Easter Holiday (No Classes.)
May 7 Tuesday Designated as a Friday (for Friday day classes only; Tuesday day and evening classes do not meet.)
May 7 Last day of classes for the spring 2019 semester.
May 8 Reading Day (No Classes.)
May 9-15 Spring 2019 final examination period.
May 15 End of the spring 2019 semester.
May 16 Residence Halls close for the semester at 11 a.m.
