Montclair State University will resume normal operations on both campuses on Tuesday, January 27.

Please Help Reduce Traffic on Campus

Parking on the Montclair campus may be limited due to large piles of snow in some surface lots. Please consider parking at the NJ Transit Deck (located at 100 Clove Road), in Lot 60, or consider carpooling / transit so there will be fewer cars on campus.

  • The gates to the NJ Transit Deck will be open. To avoid being charged, drivers should stop by the NJ Transit parking office (level 4) on arrival or before exiting to provide their license plate number. The manager will be on-site from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to assist.
  • Shuttles will run from the NJ Transit Deck to the Montclair campus from 6 a.m. through midnight.
  • If you rely on public transportation, please check with NJ Transit in case of any delays or changes in schedule.

Be Safe!

Please plan extra time for your commute, and use caution when driving and walking on campus. Watch for pedestrians and be careful in places where snow piles may obstruct your view.

Temperatures will be cold, so please dress warmly. Some roads and walkways may be slippery, so please wear appropriate footgear.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation.
