The Montclair State University Board of Trustees (BOT) will hold its Annual Tuition Hearing on Thursday, April 9, 2026 on the Montclair campus, University Hall, 7th Floor Conference Center.

Every year, the Board of Trustees hosts an open forum where students can voice their thoughts on proposed tuition, housing, and fees for the 2026-2027 academic year. University leaders will be in attendance to share important information on how these decisions are made.

Listening Sessions

Montclair State University has two (2) students who serve on the Board of Trustees: Quentin G. Ocampo and Jameson Klinsky. They will be hosting three listening sessions to hear students’ thoughts ahead of the April 9 BOT Tuition Hearing. All students are encouraged to attend and share their experiences.

A panel of University administrators will also be present at these sessions to answer any pressing questions you may have. Come out and Elevate Your Voice!

Can’t Make It? We Still Want To Hear From You!

Students who are unable to attend the BOT hearing on April 9 or the listening sessions may submit their comments on proposed tuition and fees. Response submission will close on Monday, April 6 at 11:59 p.m.

Any other questions or concerns may be directed to the Student Trustees at botrep@sgamsu.org.
