Spring Clean Your Citation Drive

Parking Services is hosting the “Spring Clean Your Citation Drive, where you can donate toiletry items to pay off eligible parking citations and support the Red Hawk Pantry!

Parking Services is excited to launch the “Spring Clean Your Citation” Drive, giving students the opportunity to donate toiletry items in place of paying eligible parking citations while supporting the Red Hawk Pantry. Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Parking Office, Red Hawk Deck, Level 1.

How It Works

Donate toiletry items and receive a credit toward one outstanding parking citation.

  • Each item = $10 credit
  • Example: A $50 citation can be resolved with 5 donated items
  • Limit: One citation dismissal per student

Drop-Off Locations (Tabling Events)

You can also donate at the following campus locations:

  • Monday, April 13, 12-2 p.m., Student Recreation Center
  • Tuesday, April 14, 1-3 p.m., Student Center, 2nd Floor Lobby
  • Wednesday, April 15, 12-2 p.m., University Facilities Building, Mail Room
  • Thursday, April 16, 9:30-11:30 a.m., University Hall, 1st Floor

What to Donate

Accepted Items:

  • Personal hygiene products (new and unopened)

Most Needed Items:

  • Toilet paper or baby wipes
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Deodorant
  • Shaving cream and razors (unisex)
  • Dish soap
  • Laundry detergent and dryer sheets
  • Feminine hygiene products (pads, tampons, unopened packs of 6 or more)
  • Body wash or bar soap
  • Toothpaste (full size), toothbrushes, mouthwash
  • Lotion and lip balm

Not Accepted:

  • Expired items
  • Open packages (unless individually wrapped inside)

Ineligible Citations

The following citations cannot be dismissed through this program:

  • Faculty or staff lot violations
  • Tampering with University equipment
  • Shared permit or boot violations
  • Parking in reserved spaces, grass or sidewalks
  • Fire lane or PWD space violations
