FCST 304: Research Methods for Studying Families and Children
Through this introductory course students develop critical reading and analyzing skills regarding current research in the field of family and child studies. Students investigage various research approaches and the role of research in society and its relationships to conditions of power and oppression. This fulfills part 2 of the three-part graduation writing requirement for the majors in FCCL, FCPS, FCEL, FCFS, FCGR, FLEM, and FCSS. 3 hours lecture.
Prerequisites: FCST 200; and FCST majors only.
