Two New Master’s Degree Programs for Fall

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is excited to announce two new graduate programs beginning in Fall 2019.


The Master of Science in Computational Linguistics is the only program of its kind in New Jersey and provides students with the skill set to excel in an interdisciplinary field concerned with the statistical and rule-based modeling of natural language from a computational perspective as well as the study of computational approaches to linguistic questions.

The Master of Arts in Social Research and Analysis is a dynamic program that trains students to use qualitative and quantitative data to develop evidence-based solutions to real world problems that companies and organizations face every day. Students will gain valuable skills in primary and secondary data analysis, such as engaging in survey research, interviews and focus groups, data and text mining, and analyzing data.
