Anton Loukhnovets

“It was by pure accident that I became an editorial designer. New York Magazine needed an art assistant, and I just happened to pass the interview. It was 1995. Since then, I have worked at more than a dozen magazines, done countless redesigns, and designed and started seven magazines from scratch.  In recent years, I was art director at GQ (2003-2010), design director at W Magazine (2011-2012), Creative Director at Bloomberg Pursuits (2012-2014) and Design Director of Achtung Mode (currently). I also was a lead designer on the recent re-launch of NY Times Magazine, and I collaborated with them on a few special issues in 2015-2016. My work has been nominated and has received numerous awards from Society of Publication Designers, as well as ASME (American Society of Magazine editors), AIGA and other organizations.  But, honors aside, I love what I do. I love editorial design and love designing for print. It never gets old to take plain words and to give them an exciting visual presentation through photography, type, and architecture of the story.’’

Giles Dickerson

Giles Dickerson is a brand and product focused designer who primarily helps startups (as well as larger companies looking to think like startups) develop their brands and products, get funded and release themselves to market. With 22 years experience creating brands and digital products for businesses large and small, Giles has worked with businesses like Barneys New York, Dow Jones, AT&T, L.L.Bean and Walmart, but prefers now to focus his energy on small lean startup teams with big ideas.

His operating philosophy is that graphic design is a single practice, a sum of its parts, and the fluid interaction between smart, thoughtful creative, and smart easy to use interactive products creates a cohesive foundation for companies to successfully launch their businesses. Simply put – “Good design is good business.”

Currently, he splits his time between his own clients, consulting as a design lead for agencies primarily in NYC and starting his own ventures, the latest being an electronic music school as well as releasing his own music which you can hear on Soundcloud. He’s also a father of two girls and enjoys cooking, archery, snowboarding, rock climbing and record collecting.
