Joe Amditis speaks on collaborative journalism panel at Creative Commons Global Summit in Mexico City

Joe Amditis, assistant director at the Center for Cooperative Media, was invited to speak on a panel about collaborative journalism models and content sharing at the 2023 Creative Commons Global Summit in Mexico City, Mexico.

The session highlighted different models that new outlets have adopted to better share and spread news, from increasing the diversity of representation in the news to developing collaborative networks to openly licensing content.

Speakers also addressed challenges and opportunities in embracing alternative models for news.
