On Wednesday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m., the School of Communication and Media at Montclair State [SCM] will host a conversation with NBC News Military Analyst and Medal of Honor Recipient Col. Jack Jacobs.

The Colonel’s discussion, Covering the Military in the Age of Political Divide, will be moderated by SCM Director Dr. Keith Strudler.

In this conversation, Jacobs will cover the ongoing challenge of providing fair and unbiased media coverage of military operations in a polarized political and media environment.

Jacobs regularly appears on programs such as The Today Show, The 11th Hour with Brian Williams, and The Rachel Maddow Show, among many others. In addition to his Medal of Honor, Jacobs has received three Bronze Stars and two Silver Stars. Jacobs is the co-author of If Not Now, When? a book that looks back at his own military service and ahead to America’s future, and served on the faculty at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the National War College in Washington, D.C.

The event is free and open to the public. Register now to attend or visit the event page for more information.
