Winter Services and Calendar

The University will shift to remote classes after the Thanksgiving holiday.  The offices and centers in the College of Education & Human Services will continue to provide services to students, faculty and staff through December 24th.  The University will be closed for the Winter Break from December 25th through January 3rd.  We will resume all services on Monday, January 4th.  Please find detailed information below for the various ways to contact each office/center.

CEHS Dean’s Office

The CEHS Dean’s Office will continue to provide services to students, staff, faculty, and visitors Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.  Remote assistance will be provided via email ( and phone (973-655-5167), or by reaching out directly to the staff person you are trying to reach.

ADP Center

The Center plans to remain open and operating until December 14th (the end of the academic term) as follows:

Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 6:30 pm
Friday 9:00 am -2:00 pm

We will also maintain our high-risk lab hours in University Hall Room 1120 daily from 9:00 am-11:00 am until December 14th.

December 15, 2020 – February 8, 2021, the Center be closed for in-person operations but will maintain the same hours on our “Virtual Front Desk” at

Student Success Center

The Student Success Center staff is available to advise students Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. We will continue to provide services to students virtually to meet their academic, career, and internship needs.

Students can make appointments with academic advisors in Navigate or with Career Services (Linda Flynn) in Hire a Red Hawk.

The Center of Pedagogy

Professional staff in the Center of Pedagogy continue to be available to meet and advise students remotely until December 24th (the end of the academic term) Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm.

December 25, 2020 – January 1, 2021, the Center will remain closed, in observance of Holiday Closing.

January 4-February 8, 2021, advisors and other professional staff of the Center will be available to students, staff, and faculty for appointments via Zoom.

CEHS Technology Services

The CEHS Technology Services department will be open 5 days/week (Mon-Fri; from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm). We will continue to provide all relevant Service Desk and Technology Support, on-site and remotely.

Ben Samuels Children’s Center

The Children’s Center will be closed on Friday, November 27th, and will take the Winter Break from December 24, 2020, through January 3, 2021.
There will be no change or alteration in the daily functioning and operations of the Center. Classrooms/The Center will only close in response to COVID-related situations.

Academic Departments

All CEHS Academic Departments will continue providing services remotely. Physical signage will remain on the doors of each suite directing students to virtual connections.
