When available, select rooms in CSAM buildings can be reserved for purposes enhancing the mission of CSAM and the University. Affiliated Montclair State University and relevant external organizations may use these spaces. CSAM reserves the right to define and determine the appropriateness of all usage requests.
We have large multimedia spaces that may be reserved for special events during regular University business hours. Use of access-controlled rooms is restricted outside of regular University business hours. Regular business hours at the University is Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Please begin by viewing availability of the spaces on 25Live. Log in with your NetID and password to view room schedules and to submit reservation requests. Navigate to the Location Search page, enter a building code and optionally room number to view availability. The Sokol Room can be viewed by searching for SCIE 102.
Request for Use
Requests should be submitted at least two weeks prior to the date of the event. Specifically for the use of CELS first floor spaces, and events taking place after University business hours or on weekends. A submitted request, nor the initial automated message, implies confirmation of the event reservation. An automated message will be sent from 25Live following an event being approved or denied.
All requests must be submitted by the University department sponsoring the event. That department must explain its involvement in the event development and provide a support and management plan. The department must also identify itself as the sponsor of the event on all publicity materials.
