Grading: Balancing COVID-19 Flexibility with Course Expectations with Emily Isaacs

In this workshop Emily Isaacs, Executive Director for the Faculty of Advancement, will present strategies for faculty to use as they navigate the difficult waters of grading in the age of COVID-19. Achieving course outcomes still matters, and assessing students on their relative mastery of these outcomes does, too. Yet in the age of COVID-19 and unexpected remote teaching and learning, students are not equally able to attend class, perform in new environments, make deadlines, or participate in activities. How do we manage fairness in this context?
