Academic Engagement Verification Requirement

Academic Engagement verification is required for all students, each term, and can be accessed through Canvas. Whether or not your professor uses their Canvas course, you will enter the Canvas course to perform the needed action for each of your spring classes.

How to Complete Verification

1. Log into Canvas.
2. Under “assignments” in the given Canvas course, please select “Academic Engagement.”
3. The non-graded assignment simply asks you to describe what you expect to learn from the class.
4. Complete the free form question by no later than one week after your class begins.

Have Financial Aid?

For students receiving Financial Aid, completing this assignment for ALL of your courses ensures that your Financial Aid will be processed.

Your financial aid will not be processed until this is complete.
