The mission of the Department of Campus Recreation and Intramural Services at Montclair State University is to provide programs, services, and facilities that encourage personal development and learning experiences by making good choices in sports and recreation.

We offer fun and safe recreational opportunities to Undergraduate and Graduate Students, Commuters and Residents, Faculty and Staff of Montclair State University. We have a variety of collaborative recreational offerings, including: Fitness and Group Xercise, Intramural and Club Sports, Special Events, Off-Campus Trips, Outdoor Adventures, and Co-Sponsorships.
