Dr. Domenica Desiderioscioli Grand Marshal at 2017 Commencement

Dr. Domenica Desiderioscioli, Professor in the Department of Exercise Science and Physical Education, with Dean Tamara Lucas before the 2017 Montclair State University Commencement on May 25.  Dr. Desi, as she is known by students and colleagues, was the Grand Marshal of the Commencement ceremonies in 2017, as she has been for several years.  In that role, she represents the faculty and leads the procession into the arena carrying the mace (pictured here), which symbolizes the authority of the University President.  After 51 years as a faculty member at Montclair State, Dr. Desi will retire at the end of this academic year.  The College of Education and Human Services thanks her for her long and important service to the College and the University.
