Zeynep Cakmak accepts the APA Interdisciplinary Minority Fellowship (IMFP)

Zeynep Cakmak, a master’s student in the Counseling Department, recently accepted the APA Interdisciplinary Minority Fellowship (IMFP). The IMFP Fellowship is awarded through a federal grant funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association (SAMSA) for graduate students of ethnic minorities who are committed to significantly improving the quality of mental health care their minority communities receive. Applicants are selected based on their knowledge and cultural competence of ethnic minority behavioral health and potential as future leaders in this area. Congrats to Zeynep & best of luck pursuing your degree!
