Mu COVID-19 Variant is in New Jersey: Dr. Stephanie Silvera Gives Information on the Strain

Dr. Stephanie Silvera, Professor in the Public Health department, remarked on the mu variant of coronavirus for NJ Spotlight News with senior correspondent Brenda Flanagan.
Dr. Silvera stated, “It does spread faster than other variants, and it does seem to be causing slightly more severe illness. It’s particularly concerning among people who are unvaccinated.” She added, “the delta variant seems to still spread far more easily.”
