Dr. Mousumi Bose to Speak at Rare Disease Day Event

Dr. Mousumi Bose, Assistant Professor in the Nutrition and Food Studies Department, will speak at a Rare Disease Day event today, February 28, 2022, at the Nasdaq building in New York City at 3:45 pm.

Dr. Bose will be sharing a little bit of her personal experience as well as a brief overview of some of the rare disease research that she has been working on during the past few years. There will be other interesting panels as well as an Indian classical music reception at the end.

Rare Disease Day is a global day to raise awareness and demand equity for people living with a rare disease: equity in healthcare, diagnosis, and social inclusion. Many rare diseases are also associated with disabilities – whether they are visible or not.
