Student Ashley Mondragon Receives Scholarship from the NY Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier

Nutrition and Food Science student, Ashley Mondragon, was recently awarded the prestigious Les Dames d’Escoffier (LDEI) Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded by an organization that honors women in food.

Les Dames d’Escoffier is the only organization of its kind: a world wide philanthropic society of professional women leaders in the fields of food, fine beverage and hospitality.  Scholarships are awarded by individual Chapters of LDEI, and Mondragon is the recipient of the New York Chapter’s award. Mondragon will be awarded the $1,500 scholarship at an awards dinner at the International Culinary Center in July.
