In their recent promotional video, the Bergen County Special Services Brownstone School highlights their partnership with the Montclair State University Clinic for Evidence-Based Practices in Schools (CEPS).
The Bergen County Special Services Brownstone School addresses the unique social, emotional, physical, intellectual and career needs of students by creating positive, stimulating and encouraging learning environments. Students are afforded and extensive array of services to facilitate the transition from school to adult life, and a team of qualified professionals conducts individual assessments and develops personalized, holistic plans to ensure each student’s successful integration into community living.
CEPS offers a range of services using a behavioral ecological consultation model to address behavioral (social-emotional/mental health) and academic needs for at-risk and special education students (ages 5 to 21) and provides coaching and training supports for schools in establishing effective systems that facilitate successful implementation of evidence-based practices.
