The Department of Theatre and Dance offers undergraduate and graduate majors and concentrations in a broad range of professional areas:

Undergraduate

• Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Theatre – Acting Concentration
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) – Musical Theatre
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Theatre – Production and Design Concentration
• Bachelor of Arts (BA) – Theatre Studies
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) – Dance
• Bachelor of Arts (BA) – Dance Education          

The BFA programs prepare students for careers as performers, director/choreographers, and backstage professionals. The BA degree in Theatre Studies is designed for students wishing to pursue more broad-based theatre-related careers. The BA in Dance Education prepares students to teach, train, and inspire the next generation of dancers, dance-lovers, and creative thinkers.

The Department also offers undergraduate minors in:

At the graduate level, we award the following major and concentrations:

• Master of Arts (MA) in theatre – Arts Management
• Master of Arts (MA) in Theatre – Production/Stage Management
• Master of Arts (MA) in Theatre – Theatre Studies

Our MA programs are geared for students wishing to move forward professionally and/or prepare for doctoral-degree studies.
