Our 33-credit program offers a full range of courses on theatre history, criticism and dramatic literature while providing significant opportunities for hands-on training in dramaturgy, advanced acting, and advanced directing.
A flexible curriculum supports academic theory with practical experience, allowing students to pursue particular areas of interest within the broader discipline of theatre studies. Small classes, independent study options, and courses grounded in current theoretical perspectives promote student research and practice. Whether you enroll as a full- or part-time student, you will enjoy the convenience of night, weekend, and hybrid/online classes, access to internships in the New York/New Jersey area, as well as the opportunity to complete your degree in timely manner.
