Dr. Zoe Burkholder, professor in the Educational Foundations department, recently wrote an article in the Teachers College Record. The article titled, “Increasing Access Isn’t Enough: We Should Fight for School Integrations”, addresses how to improve the quality of the nation’s school system by committing to clear, meaningful integrations. The article speaks on the main goal of addressing the specific needs of different communities to create more equitable public schools.
