Tosan Boyo ’11 MPH Featured in John Muir Health #IDidItForYou COVID-19 Vaccination Video

Tosan Boyo, the Senior Vice President of Hospital Operations for John Muir Health appeared in a video in June 2021 along with colleagues and friends across the San Francisco Bay area, sharing their COVID-19 vaccination stories to encourage others to do the same.
He stated, “So I spent the past 15 months of my life thinking about COVID, supporting teams through COVID, coming up with ways to battle COVID, and I’ve seen health workers go above and beyond every single day trying to figure out how to save lives and prioritize the lives of others above themselves.” He added, “I got vaccinated for my team. I got vaccinated for my mom. I got vaccinated because I wanted my daughter to be proud of her father whose been on the front lines of the pandemic this entire time.”
Tosan was Montclair State University’s very first Master of Public Health graduate in 2011, and was previously the Chief Operating Officer of the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.
