The 2025 calendar of events and activities
This year is quite unusual in the sense that Dr. Teresa Fiore is on sabbatical. Despite being off campus, she has been quite active in the area of cultural programming as her sabbatical year unexpectedly coincided with an important event in Italy, where she coordinated and led four projects: Agrigento – Italy’s Capital of Culture 2025. The projects were part of a cluster called SPONDE (shores) focusing on migrations, citizenship, ecology and gender, in line with Fiore’s established research interests and also her current project about the Allied Landing in Sicily in 1943.
