The Inserra Chair is committed to create opportunities for scholars to be in residence on campus for research reasons. While no formal program is in place at the moment and no funds can be guaranteed, ad hoc requests are considered on a regular basis (no specific deadline). The logistical aspects of the stay are managed by the Global Education office. Please write to Dr. Teresa Fiore (fiorete@montclair.edu) with a preliminary one-page proposal and a CV to explain the reasons for conducting research in the NJ-NY area and using Montclair State University as your base. Proposals related to Italian immigration and language acquisition are particularly welcome given the fields of specializations of the Italian program on campus.
