Join us for the NJ premiere of Sicilian Ghost Story, a visually stunning and socially engaged “tragi-romance” about the resilience of adolescents and the power of imagination against repressive violence. Co-directors Fabio Grassadonia and Antonio Piazza build a dark, mesmerizing fairy tale around the true events of a 1993 kidnapping, and effectively re-write the crime film genre. This multi-award winning film opened the International Critics’ Week at last year’s Cannes Film Festival. See TRAILER

Mon Dec. 3   6-9pm: Film screening and Q&A in English with Director Antonio Piazza, coming directly from Italy to meet the first NJ audience of the film, in School of Communication and Media Presentation Hall 1040, a state-of-the-art space on campus.
