Update on College Avenue Promenade Project

On Friday, June 25th College Avenue will be closed from Normal Avenue to the Red Hawk Deck, due to the College Ave Promenade utility work.

On Wednesday, June 30th, Lots 5 and 6, including the handicapped spaces located near Morehead Hall, will be closed and will remain closed through early August eliminating any parking near Russ, Freeman, College, Morehead and Life Halls.  During this period, persons authorized to park in these areas should park in Lot 7 or 8 (handicapped parking) or in the Red Hawk Deck.  If required, a Persons with Disabilities (PWD) shuttle service can be scheduled by contacting the Facilities Service Desk at 5444.

Update on West Quarry Road Project

On Friday, June 25th, we will begin the reconstruction of West Quarry Road, from the Berra Museum south to the intersection with Carlisle Road.  This project will create a new road that is separate and apart from Parking Lots 22 and 23 and install a traffic light at the intersection of Quarry and Carlisle roads.  This construction will continue through mid August.  The road will remain open during this period, but traffic will be limited to one lane during the day and reopened to two way traffic evenings and weekends.

Thank you for your continued patience.
