During the Fall 2022 semester, the Student Recreation Center received another lighting upgrade with the replacement of thirty-eight 1,085 Watt metal-halide* light fixtures over the pool area. The new fixtures use 240 Watt LED bulbs and will result in an energy savings of 310,717 kWh per year!

The project was managed by the office of Capital Planning & Project Management with the contractor Big Shine.
