Posted in: Inserra, Italian News and Events
The latest issue of the Montclair Magazine (Fall 2016) devotes an article to internships offered to Montclair State University students during the Summer of 2016, both at home and abroad. From sustainability to translation, these internships aim at introducing the students to real-world work opportunities in view of future job careers.
The article includes the “Surtitling for Performing Arts Festivals” Summer Internship in Florence, sponsored and organized by the Inserra Chair and the Italian Program in partnership with Prescott Studio, a titling agency with links to major opera theaters and festivals in Italy.
This internship is part of a larger project dedicated to translation and titling for cinema and live performances, which constitutes one of the most innovative aspects of the Italian Program at Montclair State University (read more here).
