Train from NY

Trains from New York Penn Station to MSU (in time for a 6pm event on a weekday)

Due to storm damage, the Montclair-Boonton line is running on a modified schedule until further notice.  The most recent schedule, updated January 14, 2013 can be found here.

New Jersey Transit's Montclair-Boonton line stops at the Montclair Heights station which is steps away from our campus venues (please do not use Montclair State University station). Trains take roughly 50 minutes from New York Penn Station to campus on the Montclair-Boonton line.

We recommend one of two options (both direct routes):

- Take train #6253 at 3:49 PM arriving on campus at 4:35 PM, if you want to stroll around campus before the event, perhaps visting the George Segal Art Gallery.

- Take train #6263 at 4:52 PM arriving on campus at 5:39 PM.

Both routes cost $7.25.
