Information Technology is planning our bi-annual Network maintenance window prior to the start of the Spring semester to minimize impact to our faculty and students. The scheduled date for this work is Friday, January 12th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
As with previous planned network maintenance periods, users should expect several brief interruptions of Internet and telephone connectivity to/from the campus while the network routers and firewall devices are rebooted. We will do our best to minimize the duration of any outages but cannot guarantee how frequently they might occur during the 2-hour window. We will also make arrangements to maintain Campus Police telephone service and the campus web server availability during the maintenance period.
While the Bloomfield College campus itself will not be impacted by this scheduled maintenance, some shared services such as NetID authentication to applications like Google Workspace and Workday may be unavailable sporadically between 5-7pm.
