Virtual Career Fair

You will have the opportunity to network with employers from all industries who are seeking to fill their open full-time, on-campus and internship positions. Be sure to select your Top 10 Employers beforehand so you can get the most out of the experience. View Participating Employers.

What You Need to Know:

  • Open to students/alumni from all majors.
  • Register to receive instructions and visuals for the chat module.
  • Have an up-to-date resume uploaded to Hire a Red Hawk.
  • Apply to the employers’ open positions beforehand to share your resume and interest.
  • Have your questions and pitches ready for your chats to make a strong professional impression.
  • Dress as though you’re attending in-person; if you look your best, your confidence will shine through in your conversations!

“We’ve Got You Covered” Webinar Series

You can’t come to campus, so we’re bringing career development to you! If you attended last week’s Job Searching webinar, Career Services will host two more Zoom webinars to ensure your job search and interview skills stay sharp. Webinars are open to both current students and alumni:

  • Phone and Video Interviewing: Thursday, April 16, 12:30-1:15 p.m.
    • Before you actually meet an employer face-to-face, it’s likely you’ll encounter either a phone or video interview. These modalities have both pros and cons. Attend this webinar to determine the best strategies.
  • Linkedin Tips and Tricks: Tuesday, May 5, 11-11:45 a.m.
    • Linkedin gives us unprecedented access to people, employers and opportunities. Attend this webinar to learn how to best leverage Linkedin.

Employers understand these are unusual circumstances, which require creative solutions, and many have adapted their positions to accommodate the current climate. Sign into your account to search and apply for resume building opportunities. Below are a few positions that have been added this week.

  2. Click Jobs > Search on the left hand navigation.
