Health Advisory

The Essex County Public Health Department will host on-campus COVID-19 vaccination clinics on Monday, August 1 and Monday, August 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Lot 7 (next to Panzer Athletic Center). Both initial vaccination shots and boosters will be available.

Make an Appointment

It is advised that you make an appointment. When you register you will be asked to choose the type of vaccine/booster you wish to receive and then you can choose the Montclair State August 8 clinic. You will then be asked to provide information and choose a time. Go to the Registration Form.

Please Note: If you have registered for an appointment and miss your scheduled time, please still come to the clinic on the day you have been scheduled. Your vaccine/shot dose will be waiting for you.

Also, if you did not have a chance to make an appointment before coming, walk-ins will be welcomed, at which time you will be asked to provide your information.

Eligibility

All Montclair State faculty, staff and students, their families and friends are welcome to come to a clinic. Current COVID-19 vaccine/booster eligibility is:

  • Most teens and children ages 5 and older: Initial vaccine series and one booster
  • Most adults under 50: Initial vaccine series and one booster
  • Adults ages 50 and older: Initial vaccine series and two boosters
  • People ages 12 and older who have weakened immune systems: Initial vaccine series and two boosters
