Technology Training and Support

We have designed pedagogically sound workshops to help support teaching and learning in the classroom. Realizing the importance of offering a variety of training opportunities that meet the needs and busy schedule of our Campus Community, we offer both onsite (face-to-face) and online training workshops, as well as annual events, fully online courses, and individualized instructional design consultations.

Online Faculty Development

“Empowering Online Teaching and Learning” (EOTL) is a four-week program intended to provide faculty with an overview of teaching and learning online, applicable for both online and hybrid courses. Facilitated by our Instructional Designers, this course will involve approximately 2-4 hours of participation over each of the four weeks. Participation in this program is highly recommended for all faculty members who will be teaching online or hybrid courses for the first time at Montclair State University.
