To Our Campus Community:

It is our top priority to protect both the University’s and our students’ personal data. While we all are settling in with online courses and remotely communicating with each other, we want to remind you of the processes for securely transmitting your sensitive documents.

Secure File Exchange with MSU FileHawk

The University has opened up MSU FileHawk, a web-based service that provides a secure and easy method of file exchange between students, faculty, advisors and administration for our entire campus community. It allows you to send up to 10 files at once.

Sensitive documents that previously required a visit to advisors, the Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid Office, Student Accounts or Red Hawk Central have been converted to fillable forms that must now be transmitted using MSU FileHawk. Please visit Red Hawk Central or Technology Information FAQs for students and faculty/staff for a full list of documents and instructions by department.

Please Note: If you are a student, you may send files requiring additional signatures directly to your advisor, who will then be responsible for securely transmitting for further approval. Advisors should connect with their college or school directors/deans for assistance with routing forms.
