The Center for Writing Excellence is open seven days a week to help with writing projects, class assignments, personal statements, and more.

We continue to offer sessions online via ZOOM or synchronous chat. Masks and social distancing are required at all times inside the CWE for face-to-face appointments. (See schedule for both options below.)

All students, faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to schedule an appointment with a CWE consultant for feedback on any type of writing, in any stage of the writing process.

Online Hours for Spring Semester

• Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Friday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Saturday: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Sunday: 4-9 p.m.

Face-to-face availability

• Monday: 3-8 p.m.
• Tuesday: 3-8 p.m.
• Wednesday: 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.;  3-4 p.m.
• Thursday: 3-8 p.m.
• Friday: 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
