Mental Health First Aid is an eight (8) hour course that teaches adults 18 years and older how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.

Upcoming Training Schedule

During the week of January 8-12, 2024, multiple trainings will be offered. Training is for one day.

Class size is limited to the first 30 who register.

Please Note: Once you register, you will receive an email asking you to sign up on the Mental Health First Aid Connect website and only after that can be added to the course.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Dr. Jude Uy uyj@montclair.edu or Dr. Melissa Zarin zarinm@monclair.edu.
