Launching Self-Service for Adobe

Posted in: News

In an on-going effort to provide faculty and staff with a more flexible end-user experience, we are pleased to announce the launch of Adobe Self-Service. You will not need to do anything. We are simply changing the way Adobe products are being updated and provided. These are now available to you directly from Adobe.

The Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products continues to provide faculty and staff with a collection of over 20 desktop and mobile apps and services for photography, design, video, web, UX, and more.  For a full list of these products, please visit the Adobe Creative Cloud products page

Adobe Self-Service allows you to install apps and updates using the Creative Cloud desktop on-demand and without the intervention of IT. This flexibility allows the user to control the following:

  • Install only the applications that you need, when you need
  • You can install the latest version of the application and one previous major version of each

Please Note: Public and Teaching Computer Lab software may not be on the latest version as Labs are updated at the start of the semester. Please keep that in mind when upgrading your personal computer if you are teaching a course that has software version dependencies.

For more information, please visit Adobe Products page. Enjoy!
