Campus Closed Thursday, September 2

In-person Classes and Campus Activities Cancelled.

Due to the impact of the storm, Montclair State University is cancelling all classes and activities on the campus. Online classes will meet as scheduled. Offices will operate remotely. All essential employees should report as scheduled.

1515 Broad Street

Communications Sciences and Disorders, located at 1515 Broad Street, Bloomfield, is closed.

Dining

  • Sam’s Place and Freeman Hall dining will open on schedule.
  • Blanton Hall dining is open including Dunkin Donuts, Jersey Mike’s and the C-store. Chili’s is closed.
  • Panera Bread in Cole Hall is closed.
  • Student Center Cafe and C-store are closed.

Human Resources

Offices in Overlook Corp. Center are closed. All I9 appointments for today will be rescheduled.

Information Technology

  • IT Service Desk available remotely
  • Campus public computing labs are closed.

Red Hawk Central

Red Hawk Central will be available remotely now through 6 p.m. Contact them at: redhawkcentral@montclair.edu or call 973-655-7600.

Shuttle Bus Service

There will be limited service 7 a.m – 9 p.m., Route A only.

Sprague Library

Sprague Library will be closed today. There will be limited online reference and research support available via their online Chat, now through 7 p.m. View their News item for details.

Student Recreation Center

The Student Recreation Center will be closed today.

Student Center

The Student Center 3rd floor lounge and 2nd floor cafeteria seating area in the Student Center are open. All dining venues in the Student Center are closed.

University Bookstore

The bookstore is open today: 10 a.m .- 5 p.m.
